| What
are collection catalogs and files? |
Index |
 |
A collection catalog contains all information and thumbnails of
a collection. The catalogs can be viewed online through the Gallery.
In order to enable offline previews in Media Express, the catalogs
need to be downloaded as collection files to your PC.
|
 |
| How
can I view the content of a collection? |
Index |
 |
Basically there are two ways to view the content of a collection
by use of collection catalogs:
1. Online through the Gallery (all systems) or
2. Offline within the Media Express (only Windows)
If you would like to view the catalog of a collection online,
go to the gallery, click on "Catalogs" and choose the collection
you want from the catalog list. Also you can go back and forth
quickly from the product page to the respective image catalog
by selecting "Collection Catalog". Just click on the individual
galleries to view the previews.
You have also the option to view the catalogs quietly offline
within the Media Express (Windows only) - see next chapter...
|
 |
| How
can I download the collection file to view a collection offline? |
Index |
 |
If you would like to view the catalog of a collection offline
within the Media Express, you need to download the corresponding
collection file first as follows:
Go to a collection gallery and click on the cube icon on the title-bar,
or click on "Collection File" on the product page of the collection
you want. After installing the collection file, select "Open"
to launch the Media Express, where you can view the thumbnails
of the collection.
As soon as the collection file is downloaded, you can watch the
thumbnails within the Media Express without being connected to
the Internet. This option is available only for Windows systems
with Media Express installed.

Yes. The physical shipping of products that are offered primarily
for download is an optional service. In such cases we will burn
the requested data on a CD. All CD's are verified before leaving
our house. It goes without saying that burned CD ROMs are also
subject to our
Limited Warranty.
