What you need
- 25 standard matchboxes
- 25 small surprises to fill the
boxes (chewing gum, minitoys etc.)
Tinkering Guide
Empty the 25 matchboxes.
Load the Advent templates into your
graphic software and print them out.
Cut the subjects along the white
lines and the height of the
matchboxes (use a cutter knife for
best results) (1).
Glue the printed envelopes on the
outer casing of the matchboxes,
centering the subject on the
frontside (2).
If you want to hang up the Advent
boxes (e.g. on a Christmas Tree),
make a little hole on the upper side
of the inner boxes, thread a cord
and knot it in the inner side of the
box on a halved match (3).
Fill the inner boxes with candies,
minitoys and other little surprises
and close the boxes with the casing
(4).
Hang the Advent boxes on the
Christmas Tree or a branch of fir
(5), or tinker a base (e.g. a fir)
and glue them on it (6).
